How to Find the Right Pair of Shoes That Will Support Your Busy Lifestyle

''Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world'' – this is what Merilyn Monroe once said and nowadays I can't help but think how these words describe my situation. Lately, I've been quite busy, balancing between my work and social life, trying to make it to the gym after work and coming home to my kids and family. I learned the hard way that wearing cute high heels (in which I thought I look feminine since they elongated my legs), don't support my feet through the day. Instead, I needed a pair of ladies comfort shoes that look attractive but are still kind to my feet. Of course that occasionally I still wear my heels like when I'm on a date with my husband or when I have work meetings, but I've also incorporated more casual models into my wardrobe. So, if you are in the same situation as me and that is having to spend most part your day on feet, here are some things you should consider on your next shopping spree.

First, comfortable shoes are the type of footwear that feels comfortable to wear and suitable for daily use. If you are having a busy lifestyle and spend most of the time on foot, it's only logical that you expect the same pair of casual comfy shoes to be durable enough to keep up with your busy lifestyle, good-looking enough to permit you in most establishments while still general enough to combine with most of your outfits. What this means is that they have to fulfil more than one purpose and should be packed with many features.

Probably the first thing that comes to people's mind when I say ladies comfort shoes is sneakers. And yes, most of the time these can be the comfiest option that can effortlessly take you through the day. But I'm not taking the bulky, sporty sneakers that we are so used to see on Instagram feeds these days. Instead, you will need a pair of comfy sneakers that are more subtle and can be easily introduced to many of your daily outfits. If you want to wear your kicks with a number of different outfits go for a pair in neutral colours like black, white, blush or baby pink.

To keep up with your busy lifestyle, ladies comfort shoes should have soft, flexible uppers that adjust to the form of the feet instead of fighting against it. Another feature you should pay attention to is the material. It's needless to say that whenever possible leather should be your preferred material of choice. When a premium leather is used to make a pair of shoes it will keep your foot comfortable and can encourage a healthy foot environment. Other features like removable cushioned insoles provide all-day comfort and reduce the amount of impact your feet take with every step, while slip-resistant soles provide stability you need to keep you moving all day long.

As already mentioned, sneakers are probably the first thing that comes to your mind when speaking of comfy shoes, but women's comfort shoes don't necessarily have to be sneakers. If you want the comfort of sneakers but at the same time, you want footwear that doesn't skimp on style and can be classic and dressy, there is a wide range of hybrid models that combine both. Luxury sneakers can also look the part for many occasions and help you make a subtle statement.

Wedge sandals can also be comfortable enough to be worn for many hours of the day when summer, of course, if you pay attention to their design. Again, leather upper can offer flexibility and smooth walking experience while a thick rubber sole makes it easy to walk in.

Ballet shoes are very feminine and timeless shoes and once Audrey Hepburn's shoe of choice. But not just any ballet shoe will do the job right of providing you with the comfort you need. Although at first, ballet flats may seem like a better option than heels, don't assume that supper flat shoes are better than high heels because they can also be hard on the feet. Therefore pick ones with r least two inches heel height. Also, make sure you invest in flats that are quality, comfortable, lightly padded, feature a sturdy rubber sole for extra protection and a soft leather upper that minimises chafing. Appearance-wise, black ballet flats that feature an adjustable ankle strap or maybe a little bow will allow you to be feminine enough while remaining effortless.

On a final note, have in mind that buying shoes with the right fit are also of great importance. Wearing ill-fitting footwear can be the cause of a variety of issues. Regardless of the quality and built of the shoes, if they don't fit you well, they will definitely ruin your day. You can find anatomical options that complement the foot's natural shape and movement for enhanced comfort, support, and stability.
